Sunekos is an injectable treatment that improves skin quality rather than adding volume. It works at a deeper, cellular level to support the Extracellular Matrix (a vital component that supports the skin's structure), which keeps skin firm and improves skin health. This makes it highly effective for treating fine lines, wrinkles and skin laxity. Sunekos combines hyaluronic acid with different molecular weights and a patented blend of amin acids (HY6AA). Together, these ingredients stimulate collagen and elastin production which restores hydration, elasticity and overall skin structure. 

A course of 3 treatments/sessions is most effective. After your initial consultation, in the first session, Sunekos 1200 is administered first to provide initial structural support and decreases inflammation. Then immediately after, Sunekos Performa is administered to enhance the rejuvenation process by more effectively stimulating collagen and elastin production.A further two sessions administering Sunekos Performa should take place each after 10-14 days. This combination treatment targets both surface hydration and deeper skin regeneration providing longer-lasting results. We recommend maintenance treatments every 6 - 9 months. 

Most patients find the treatment tolerable. Slight stinging sensation may be felt in the injected area which only lasts a few seconds. We can apply a topical numbing cream beforehand if you’re worried.

Common side-effects are mild bruising / swelling however these should reduce over 24-48hours. We recommend to apply a cool compress intermittently, avoid touching or massaging the treatment area for two days and support the healing by drinking plenty of water and use SPF to protect the skin. 

Results develop gradually, giving natural, long-lasting rejuvenation. However, results are often seen after one week from your first session.

Sunekos works differently from Botox and Dermal Fillers. Rather than relaxing muscle contractions like Botox or adding volume like fillers, Sunekos focuses on improving the skin from within. It uses a unique blend of hyaluronic acid and amino acids to support skin quality and regeneration. Another advantage is that Sunekos can be safely combined with both Botox and dermal fillers for enhanced results.

There are a few difference between Sunekos and Profhilo. Their formulations are not the same as Sunekos is a liquid and Profhilo is a gel. Sunekos uses a combination of Hyaluronic Acid and amino acids whereas Profhilo is 100% hyaluronic acid. Sunekos is commonly used around the eyes, on the forehead, and around the mouth, whereas Profhilo is not licensed for use in these areas. Alike Botox and dermal fillers, Sunekos can be combined with Profhilo. 

Yes! Sunekos is suitable for most skin types, at any time of year. We've seen optimal results in those 35+ wanting improve skin quality, hydration and elasticity. If you have early to moderate signs of ageing, fine lines, crepey skin or sun damage, Sunekos could be the perfect treatment to provide natural results.  For more significant volume loss or deeper wrinkles, dermal fillers or other treatments may be the more suitable option.
