Hyaluronic acid treatments to restore subtle contours, lift and soften
Hyaluronic acid treatments to restore subtle contours, lift and soften
Dermal Fillers are an effective treatment to help smooth away wrinkles and fine lines by adding volume. They are not just for lips and cheeks! It's so important to never take features out of context of the whole face.
With the instant volumisation of facial contouring, dermal fillers can help restore a rejuvenated, more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers can also minimise the appearance of nasolabial folds (also known as smile lines), as well as add volume to thinner lips. Clients that suffer from dark circles and excessive undereye bags can also be treated with Hyaluronic Acid dermal fillers. Our Hyaluronic Acid fillers provide instant volumisation around the tear trough for a 'wide awake' and refreshed look, without requiring surgery or incisions.
Results from a dermal filler injection can last anywhere from 12-24 months, making this a great treatment for busy clients. Dermal fillers are a safe and effective procedure to help smooth and tackle signs of ageing.
At Medicetics we expertly administer dermal fillers to follow the natural lines of the face to help replenish contouring for a subtle look. All our products are hyaluronic acid-based so do not cause reactions and for peace of mind, are easily reversed.
We always take a ‘full-face’ approach with fillers, your practitioner will discuss a plan that is entirely
bespoke to you, your face, desired outcome, budget and timeline. Please see below as a guide:

Am I Suitable For Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers have many uses to help improve the look of the face, hands, neck and decolletage. Both younger and older clients, men and women have found dermal fillers can help them achieve a more youthful and contoured look.
Is Dermal Filler treatment safe?
Yes, and the Medicetics team possess expert knowledge and training. It is made from natural Hyaluronic Acid, and can be easily dissolved should you not achieve your expected outcome.
Do Dermal Fillers Hurt?
Some minor discomfort may be experienced, and we will always recommend attending 45minutes prior to your appointment for an anaesthetic numbing cream to be administered. We use a very fine needle to minimise discomfort, with any lasting tenderness settling within a matter of hours.
Are there any side effects or risks with Dermal Fillers?
You may experience redness, bruising or swelling immediately after treatment. These effects are minor and will subside after 24 hours. During your consultation session, any potential side effects will be outlined based on your medical history.
How long will the treatment last?
You will see the results of dermal fillers very quickly, and the results should last up to 12 months. We will work with you for a long-term treatment plan to help maintain your desired results.
Fillers or Botox®?
Both dermal fillers and wrinkle treatments (Botox®) have similar results and are just as effective as each other. The results of dermal fillers will last significantly longer than other wrinkle treatments.
Aftercare and Recovery
Dermal filler injections only take a few minutes to administer, however, in cases where they are being used for a Liquid Facelift they may take longer. Dermal fillers are injected into the treatment area via a small needle or sometimes a cannula. Typical injection sites include the cheeks, around the eyes, nasolabial folds and lips. Clients may be treated with a numbing cream to manage discomfort.
Any discomfort/ tenderness/ swelling should settle within 4 days. Bruising may take a little longer. We recommend keeping the area clean and make-up free for 12 hours post procedure. Avoid massage and facials for 2 weeks, as well as extremes of hot and cold.
