Chemical Peels At A Glance
Chemical peels vary significantly in strength from a light exfoliation with no downtime to deeper peels to treat pigmentation and deep lines. They are a great treatment for clients who want to treat signs of ageing and uneven skin tone. Milder peels are available for consistent maintenance for healthy skin.
Our Aesthetic Practitioners will work with you to create a bespoke skin peel, targeting your skin concerns and goals. We use a combination of Obagi Blue Peel Radiance, ENERPEEL, Epionce, and Skinbetter Science peels. We offer chemical peels specifically designed for the eye and lip area, as well as hands, decolletage and other areas of the body.
For an advanced in-clinic peel and at home treatment for pigmentation, the powerful Cosmelan Depigmentation Peel could be an option for you.

Chemical Peel FAQs
Am I Suitable for Chemical Peels?
We offer different chemical peels depending on your skin concern and goals. Both younger and older clients, men and women have found chemical peels can help them achieve a more brighter complexion. Chemical peels are recommended for acne prone skin with congestion and pigmentation, wrinkles and first signs of ageing.
Are Chemical Peels Safe?
Yes, and the Medicetics team possess expert knowledge and training.
What Can I expect from a chemical peel?
We will always start with a consultation to determine your skin concerns and goals. This is important to determine the strength of the chemical peel that will be suitable for you. We often recommend a series of 3 treatments at 2-3 week intervals followed by regular maintenance peels every 8-12 weeks.
Your skin will be prepped in the appointments before the peel is applied. You may notice a slight tingling sensation but this doesn’t hurt. The treatment will take around 30 minutes. Once finished we will remove the peel, apply moisturiser and then sunscreen.
Full results will be visible within 1-2 weeks.
Aftercare & recovery
The duration and recovery process depends on the chemical peel you’ve opted for, but usually, there is little to no visible peeling after the procedure. Your skin may feel a little tight for a couple of days.
Light chemical peels may result in slight redness and sensitivity meaning clients should always wear sunscreen Deeper peels can result in flaking, peeling and temporary dark spots, and we recommend clients should avoid sun exposure for at least 2 weeks after any peel
